I apologize to Linda and Helen for not posting instructions for the charity blocks sooner. I am having trouble with both my printer (so cannot scan at the moment) and my laptop (do not have a working Word program). Click here to see a video which shows how to make these blocks. If you are making the 4-patch block stop the video at the 3 minute mark. If you are making the disappearing 4-patch you will need to watch the entire video.
4-patch Start with 5 1/2" blocks for the 4-patch.
Disappearing 4-patch Start with 6" squares. Cut 1 1/4" from the center line.
Remember to use white or white on white and your co-ordinating fabric should be
the same print suitable for toddlers or young children.
Both blocks will be 10 1/2" unfinished!
